Genovasi is a combination of the Malay words for ‘Generation’ and ‘Innovation’, capturing our mission to embed Design Thinking in all spectrums of society.
Genovasi was established in 2012 through the vision of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, through the combined efforts of the Malaysian Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and the Founder Chairman of a renowned multinational corporation (MNC) founded in Malaysia which consists of 3 Public Listed Corporations and a Group of Private Limited Companies.
Genovasi is the only University in Malaysia granted by the Ministry of Higher Education and the Government of Malaysia to offer all its programs based on Dual Mode i.e., Conventional as well as (Open) Online and Distance Learning (ODL) in 2017.
Over a short period of less than 10 years, Genovasi has trained more than 15,000 students and trainees consisting of the government and civil servants, management and staff members of public and private listed companies from both Malaysia and overseas.

GEOMATIKA UNIVERSITY COLLEGE
My Global World Education Group and Geomatika University in Malaysia have signed an international collaboration agreement which allows MGW to run the GU MBA program around the world.
Geomatika University College (GUC) started as a Vocational Centre in 2000, carving a niche in Land Surveying. Noting a growing demand for such a specialisation, Geomatika submitted an application for college status and obtained the approval from the Ministry of Education.
Due to overwhelming demand, Geomatika established its Department of Geospatial and Land Development and launched the Centre of GIS (CeGIS) Short Courses Program in Geospatial Technology as well as Certificate in Land Assistantship Surveying.
As part of Malaysian tertiary education ecosystem, GUC has aligned its strategies with The National Transformational Program (NTP) under the NKEA, in tangent with the nation’s plan to be a developed nation by 2020. In 2014, GUC was awarded the status of a full university college by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) (MO).
